Up Coming Events

The Annual Toulon Cemetery Walk will be postponed until Old Stettlers' Days, due to scheduling conflicts.

The Knit One, Murder Too weekend is fast approaching.  Have you purchased your ticket yet?  Author Maggie Sefton will speak starting at 2 pm on June 12, at the Stark County High School Gymnasium.  Your afternoon registration fee ($35) includes hearing Ms. Sefton speak, a copy of her newest book, and the opportunity to have the book signed.

Morning Registration ($20) includes a potpourri of demonstrations/vendors.  There will be Fiber Arts Displays at the Baptist, Methodist, and Congregational Churches.  The Stark County Historical Home will be open from 8 pm until 1:30 pm.  This day holds a little bit of something for everyone.  You may register and pay online at www.toulonpld.org, or call the library for a registration form.

Summer Reading Program registration begins on May 17, 2010.  This year kickoff will be on Friday June 5 at the library’s lot on East Jefferson Street.  Magician Rick Eugene will be there to do magic and Jan Sams and Richard Hartley will be there to entertain everyone with their music.  The Lion’s Club will be cooking pork chop sandwiches and hot dogs.  The fun starts at 4:00 pm and continues until 7 pm.  You make pick up your Summer Reading Packets there.
