National Library Week

We would like to thank the Toulon Market for making up our National Library Week raffle basket.  They did such a beautiful job.  The winner of the raffle basket was Nancy Smith!  Congratulations Nancy.

AnnualCemetery Walk

We will be having our Annual Cemetery Walk on May 28 and 29.  Tickets for this event can be purchased at the Toulon Public Library.  Tickets are $5.00 per person or $7.00 on the day of the event.  All proceeds will go to the library’s building fund.

Summer Reading Program

Our Summer Reading Program this year is titled “Scare Up A Good Book!”  All ages (birth to 103) may start registering for this fun five week program as of May 17.  This is such of fun time of year while this program is going on.  You get to read the books you have wanted to read, participate in free programs, make crafts, and much much more!  The Summer Reading Program kickoff will be June 4 at the site of the new library.  The fun starts at 4:00 pm.  Keep watching for more information in future news articles.

New DVD’s

You may come in and browse through the DVD books.  You may checkout four (4) DVD’s for a one (1) week period.  You may also renew them once if there is no hold on the DVD.  We have received in new DVD’s that you may like to watch.  They are:  Whip It, Sherlock Holmes, The Time Traveler’s Wife, Ghost Hunters Season 5, The Blind Side, InkHeart, Handy Manny, Sprongbob Viking-Sized, Alvin and the Chipmunks the Squeakquel.
